Puyallup, Wash. — Some people just won’t settle for anything less than firs class and hundreds of participants are thankful that Harnish Lincoln-Mercury’s vice-president Chris Brown is a “first class” kinda gearhead.

That fact was most evident, July14, 2007 as Harnish Lincoln Mercury staged the 1st annual Hot Rod & Custom Show at the dealership in Puyallup.

The folks at Harnish went all out in several respects; first, no fees, everything free including a custom clock, t-shirt and dash plaques, a very tasty free barbecue for every participant. Too, there was “mile-a-minute” entertainment by “The Wolfman”, spinnin’ oldies and laying down his inimitable jive, non-stop fun right up to the 4 p.m. awards during which 32 pieces of gleaming hardware were handed out, including two 6-foot trophies.

“We couldn’t have asked for a nicer bunch of people,” Brown says. “I have Larry Hanson to thank for coordinating the entire event. Larry did a great job of bringing out wonderful folks and fabulous cars. We’re already looking forward to doing it again in 2008.”
