Logan, Utah — Back in 1982 a handful of gearheads organized the first Cache Valley Cruise-In. A quarter century later, July 5 - 7, 2007, the event attracted more than 1,000 participants and 30,000 spectators to the accommodating Logan/Cache Fairgrounds.

Graciously hosted by the Cache Valley Cruising Association, the Cruise-In is an open event that consistently attracts top quality vehicles by offering up an exciting and varied slate of activities and entertainment.

The 2007 action opened Thursday with registration at the Baugh Motel, a 40-mile Cruise/Poker Run to Bear Lake, a Dutch Oven Dinner by the Coppermill Restaurant, and, for those with the energy, a Sock Hop. Saturday opened with a “Fun Run” and assorted Driving Events.By noon the Swap Meet and commercial vendors were up and operating. Then a Coppermill Restaurant barbecue followed by a concert at the fairgrounds arena featuring the ground-pounding rock ’n roll sounds of 38 Special. Saturday opened with a Coppermill Restaurant Chuckwagon breakfast while the Swap Meet and vendors were doing business by 10 am. The Show ’n Shine ran till 4:30 pm when the awards were handed out. Finally, the biggie, as a winner was drawn for the gorgeous “Giveaway Car”, a 1956 Ford F-100 Pickup. The “Main Street Cruising Parade” followed and provided a fitting end to the Cruise-In.
