Vintiques NW Nats… Can It Get Any Better Than This?

Yakima — Once upon a time, or so the story goes, the Vintiques of Yakima “qualified” a car as a street rod, only if it was manufactured prior to 1949. Alas, since old iron has become more and more scarce, in 2006 the club open things up… thus the 2008, 34th annual NW Nationals, July 31 - August 3, offered up an incredible field of pre-1973 vehicles.

The festivities open with a Thursday night cruise and from that moment on, participants are entertained and can be as busy or idle as they like. Yep, spike a volleyball, cruise the poker run, or just kick back under an awning and watch the old iron cruise on by.
Oh, and don’t forget the barbecue, the car games, the gearhead vendors in the air conditoned Sundome, all that & door prizes galore!

Truly, the Vintiques of Yakima serve up a brand of hospitality that is second to none. They’ve been doing it for decades and they do it right! Check’em out in 2009, you’ll be glad you did.
