Can Goodguys fill the Fairgrounds? We didn't have specific numbers, but it sure looked like it to us! Walk down every aisle, turn every corner and there were more cars, sometimes as far as the eye could see! In past years, numbers have ranged between 2500 and 3000 registered vehicles, and 2015 seemed no different. 2015 was also the 28th year since the Goodguys organization first dipped their toes (figuratively, but it conjures up some interesting visuals) in the allegedly damp Pacific Northwest and it's been nothing but up, and largely dry, ever since. The 10th annual Rods & Reels Rod Run was again filled with bright sunshine and beautiful cars and trucks. Skamokawa Fairgrounds was covered with classics from near and far with 340 on the grounds and more that came a little later for the Salmon BBQ and raffle drawings. Read More!

21 years ago, members of the Mid-Columbia Car Club in The Dalles decided that the beautiful grass-covered and tree shaded park overlooking the town would make a great venue for a car show. They approached the Parks and Recreation Department, and the director was very receptive to the idea. "Cruise the Gorge" was born. Read More!
