Want Winter Sizzle? Check Out the Salem Roadster Show Photos by Don Van Dinter — Story by Bob Symons Salem, Oreg. — Thousands of spectators beat the winter chill by attending a sizzling 2009 Salem Roadster Show, February 7-8, at the Oregon State Fairgrounds. The show featured over 110 cars, trucks and motorcycles, and, again, the entries were all new so spectators had a totally new selection of the West Coast’s best. ![]() Vehicles came from British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California and Idaho. From Muscle Cars to Hot Rods to Customs to Woodies to you name it - it was all there in it’s finest. On Friday night the vehicle owners enjoyed a pizza feed second to none courtesy of Walery’s Pizza of Salem and on Saturday night Salem’s “Best Little Roadhouse” provided over the top food and service for all who attended a banquet for the vehicle owners, vendors and sponsors. The black leather sleeved with Salem Roadster Show embroidery work on the back “trophy jackets” were given at registration to the vehicle owners to enjoy in the nice winter weather and wherever they might travel. Crowds were huge as the show continues to grow each year and next year’s show is well on the way to filling up. Greg and Bob invite everyone to enjoy the Northwest’s finest. They travel all year long looking to put the best together for you to see each February. Next year’s show is February 13th and 14th so put it on your calender now.
