During a summer of clear skies and 80-degree temperatures, August 13, 2017 dawned grey and threatening rain. That didn't deter 430 vehicles from showing up for "The CRUZ" and just after noon, the skies opened up for 45 minutes and everyone got a free car wash. The Town of La Conner is consistently voted one of Washington's favorite romantic getaways. And on August 5, 2017, there was as much rumble as romance happening in La Conner when 150-plus enthusiast cars rolled into the historic waterfront community for the 17th annual La Conner Classic Boat and Car Show. Good Weather, Good Rods and Great Cause at Clarus Optical. The 2017 version of the Clarus Optical Cruise for the Cure happened under clear skies and warm weather which, in turn brought out some excellent examples of South Sound street iron. Among the assortment were a couple of bracket cars, a customized sedan, several restored stockers and hot rods of various sorts, plus a seriously rodded '61 VW Type 1 and a daily driven '55 T-bird owned by the same guy for almost a half century. Mercer Island Car Show Offers Great Sights & Sounds

The 15th annual 2017 Mercer Island Car Show took place on July 9th and was a fun event for all with good weather, good music (provided by Pete Policani), food at the Street Fair and about 110 cars for everyone to check out and enjoy. "Small Town" The Dalles' Big Time "Cruise the Gorge"

The Dalles is a small town on the East end of the Columbia River Gorge known for cherries, windsurfing, beautiful scenery, interesting history and lots of sun. Some 21 years ago the members of the Mid-Columbia Car Club decided to host a car show to bring visitors into the area, and "Cruise the Gorge" was born.
